Here’s how to attach a photo or file to an email on an Android phone or tablet.
Follow these steps in order.
- Open your email app.
- Tap Compose or New Message.
- Enter the email address.
- Tap the Attach or Paperclip icon.
- Choose Photo, Gallery or Files.
- Select the photo or file you want to send.
- You will see it added to your email.
- To add more, tap the paperclip icon again or select multiple files.
- Tap Send.
Photos, documents, and other files are called attachments.
The photo(s) or file(s) will be sent with your email.
Large photos may take longer to send. If the file is too large, the email may not send. You may need to use a smaller file or send it another way.
